The second day in Vegas was quite laid-back. We began by trying out some games at the casino, like slot machines and a poker game called “Jacks and Better.” We didn’t do so well on the slot machines – we lost money pretty quickly. However, the “Jacks and Better” game was more fun, even though we still ended up losing money. But that’s okay because that’s how gambling usually goes.
We learned a trick from someone online about joining the player’s club. Here’s how it works: First, we went to the player’s club kiosk and got our membership. Then, we put at least $100 into a slot machine and played for a while before taking the money out. This lets the membership system recognize us, and in the future, we might get coupons and promotions for free stays or bonuses. We’ll have to wait and see if we get any offers in the next month or so 😊.
Lunchtime came, and we went to a Dim Sum restaurant named Tim Ho Wan in the Palms Casino Resort. The place had a great atmosphere, and there wasn’t much of a wait. The food was also really tasty. In the afternoon, we visited the International Mob Museum. We decided to go there to have something to do, and it turned out to be surprisingly interesting. The museum shared a history of Las Vegas that we didn’t know about before. It was a cool place to visit.
The day wrapped up with us watching the Rouge show. It’s a show for grown-ups, and I thought all the actors and actresses were really good at what they do. The show had different parts and was well put together. The two hosts of the show were super funny and made everyone laugh. They’re also really talented acrobats, which we didn’t know until the very end when they performed with others. The second day ended with us feeling relaxed and happy.
